What prompted you to become a consultant?

I chose to close my brick and mortar business with all the overhead expenses and move the most profitable and valuable portion of my business to consulting. I rebranded and never looked back!

Why do you feel that consulting is the career path for you?

It gives me a lot of flexibility and freedom. I have very little expenses which leaves room for more profit. I get to focus on one area of business that I enjoy and not have to juggle several other balls.

How has LEAP helped you?

LEAP organized information and instructed me on each area of a consulting business start-up. They streamlined the information and presented it in a clear and concise manner. I understood the sequence of things I needed to do and was given several resources to follow-through. I was able to ask questions along the way and felt confident about next steps.

What advice would you give someone considering consulting?

Consulting takes self-discipline, accountability, and hard work but the rewards are great. LEAP offers an assessment to help one understand if they are ready for a consulting career. I would highly recommend the course to anyone considering the switch to consulting.
